This is the pile after brushing Kallia's hair this morning. She is surprisingly OK with it. She is excited for a wig. I'm sure a wig sounds fun but I've heard they are hot, itchy, and uncomfortable for kids. We shall see. She has such a good attitude about it all right now.
My friend battling ovarian cancer is on her second round of hair loss... She said she often felt chilled without hair, especially in the winter. At night too. She tried on some wigs but ended up opting for scarves, hats, hear wraps, etc just for the sake of ease. There are lots of options out there, and some pretty cute ones too. She said the chemo makes your skin quite sensitive, so the softer the better. And look for things with hems that have been sewn flat. Good luck! The hair grows back :)
ReplyDeleteKallia, you are beautiful! Do you think you can talk your Mommy into a pink wig? That's what I would get! Love ya sweet girl :)
